Current role: Surveyor, Gerald Eve LLP

When deciding on the right university course, I was certain I wanted to study a degree that linked directly to a career path, which is why I chose to study Real Estate. While studying, I was fortunate enough to gain work experience in the  property department at BT, at a residential property conveyancing department of a solicitor’s practice and I also worked part-time at a small property company, researching and assisting with valuation reports in my final year of university.

I joined the Gerald Eve’s graduate scheme in September 2014 and worked as an Assistant Surveyor for two years. As part of the rotational graduate scheme I worked in the Alternative Investment, Business Rates, Development and Corporate Property Management teams enabling me to work with numerous people and on a variety of projects. While studying and training for the APC, I was able to attend workshops and presentations both internally and externally to ensure I was fully prepared for the entire process. Upon qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor, I was offered a job in the Development team where I work on a range of interesting projects for many high profile clients.
